Corsham’s 1st XV will be keen to get back on the pitch this weekend as they travel down the road to Devizes.

Availability issues forced Corsham to forfeit last week’s fixture against Swanage & Wareham, but attention now turns to Saturday and a fresh opportunity to get their season moving.

Devizes finished third last season, with Corsham eighth, and took the honours in both meetings. While one ended in a 66–10 defeat, the other was a much closer contest, with just five points separating the sides in a 14-19 result.

Corsham will look to build on a very strong preseason performance and it’s a chance for the lads to put last weekend behind them, come together and show what they can do against a side that enjoyed a strong season.

Get behind the 1st XV this weekend as they return to action. Up the Corsh!
